Harrison Dutton,
Editor
I really enjoyed editing these two books.  They're great stories, Emerson setting the stage for Prince Alley Em.  Whether you're young or old, if you're a horse lover or enjoy stories of the countryside, you'll feel at home with Loafing Hills Farm and the charming family there.
My current task is constructing our web site.

Cover Artist
Illustrating the covers of Emerson and Prince Alley Em was fun.  Even as a child I loved sketching, and began painting in my teenage years.   Majoring in Art while in college, my main love is portraying animals particularly horses, dogs, and birds (of all feathers).  My pets are Max, my dog, and birds BeeBee and Bob.
I'm Boo-boo Kitty.  I kept things going on the books the best I could, purring everyone on.  When things got tough I tried to liven things up by diversions of various sorts such as chasing Kelly, the other cat.  I get lots of exercise that way and help everyone else get some too.  It's hard work!
I was glad to help, but I don't do e-mail nor take phone calls.
Note from Mary Ann...
These books were, indeed, a team effort.   Emerson took over a year from start to finish, and that beginning with a handwritten story, which had to be transferred into a computer.
Prince Alley Em took as long, perhaps, even starting from scratch except for the Loafing Hills family information already written.   These books were self-published, a new experience.
